Well three weeks travelling around Europe didn’t quite start to plan, Ralph Jones and myself left Shrewsbury heading to Weston-super-mare to pick up Ben Baker; who got delayed deciding what party gear he should pack! So we missed the Dover to Dunkerque midnight ferry by around 5 minutes, and then had to wait 2 hours till the next one at 3am.

The UCI Downhill World Cup Series is becoming a nail biter as Santa Cruz Syndicate's Greg Minnaar (SRAM RockShox), takes 2nd place today in Val Di Sole, Italy in the fifth downhill race of the six race series and Gee Atherton takes the series lead with a 3rd place finish, just 7 points ahead of Greg with one race left.

Santa Cruz Syndicate's Greg Minnaar continues to lead the UCI World Cup Downhill Series with a 2nd place finish in Champery, Switzerland. Gee Atherton takes the win and tightens the margin to 13 points between he and Greg making it a very exciting season.

In June of 2010, engineers from Santa Cruz, Cane Creek, Edge Composites and The Hive came together for riding, testing and brainstorming in Whistler. They rode 33.5lb V10 Carbon downhill bikes with prototype Edge carbon rims and bars, Cane Creek Angleset headset, the new e.thirteen cranks and a variety of suspension including the 2011 BoXXer World Cup and Vivid Air rear shock.
