Current Occupation: ALL AROUND GUY
I rode my bike to school and would race the bus there and back. I would work lines in between the bus and dodge cars and crackheads in Fontana, CA. I did not have a BMX career since I was 5 years old before this. I have been a mountain biker from the beginning. I had a little BMX bike at first, but liked mountain bikes better because they go more places and are more versatile.
I knew I wanted to get out of my hometown so I had many influences. From the people around me, to race car drivers to snakes because I would ride my bike for hours and hours catching snakes and I realized I either wanted to be a herpatologist or a bike racer. Especially after my dad died, I knew I had to find a dream and live for it. Here I am, 10 years later doing something I love for a living.
4 broken wrists
1 broken ankle
3 ribs broken
1 broken finger
Shins that look like the surface of the moon with skin so thin you can almost see my bone.
Skateboarding comps from 1989-1993
Overall Ca. state champion in mini ramp and 2nd overall street
My Personality and my desire to push myself harder every time and a clear understanding of the products I am running.
To change the face of cycling
To make it more acceptable to other athletes and sports.
To accomplish my goals of world cup, norba, freeride and jump comp individual wins and titles.
Building dirt jumps and ramps in my yard, going on road and mtb rides while downhilling as many different kinds of trails as possible.
Current goals are to finish my yard and house and gain momentum in my training. My future goals would be to make the ALLRIDE name be synonomous with MTBing. When you hear ALLRIDE you think 26inch bikes. I also want to laugh as much as I do, have as much fun as I am having and keep my career in the bike industry because I don't belong anywhere else.
There are so many from the time I started cross-country, to trials and then onto downhill. I guess the greatest achievement is becoming known for doing all of them at a high level. ALLRIDE just fits.
One of my first XC experiences when I was wearing skate clothes on a 30 mile ride and got two flats and I didn't have any tubes. I was out of water and food and it was getting dark. My buddy decided to ride my bike for me with two flats while I rode his perfect bike. He waited for me for a half-hour at the car as I finally rode up with my pride bruised and I thought I sucked. And so it began. My quest to never let that happen again.
Mud and roots up top, the middle is dense trees with zero visibility, rocky and steep with a finish line with doubles that keep getting bigger and bigger until they are 130ft on a slight grade. Perfect Course!
